We are currently seeking two (2) Steam Plant Operator II's to join the team at our Sheerness Generation Station. Employees assist with the safe operation of the plant including checking the operation, performance and condition of plant equipment and processes, including assigned maintenance and cleanup duties. This is a full-time, temporary, safety-sensitive position based out of our Sheerness Generation Station in Hanna, Alberta.

Requirements:

• a) Completion of Grade XII, including a pass standing in Math 20, Physics 20 (preference toward Physics 30), English 30 and another 30 level course with two (2) years of related experience OR
• b) Completion of a two year Power Engineering Technology Program with six (6) months of related experience
• A valid 3rd Class Power Engineer’s Certificate of Competency
• Must have a valid Alberta operator’s license (minimum class
