We are looking to expand our highway maintenance operations areas and are preparing a response to an RFP announced by the Provincial Government for a highway maintenance contract in Eastern and Central Alberta. As such, LaPrairie Works is in search for applications to fill the role of Snowplow Operator to be based in Hanna, AB. The successful candidates will be hired should LaPrairie Works be successful in procuring the contract for this area.

Requirements:

• Experience with off-road & winter driving.
• Experience in highway maintenance activities, such as winter maintenance, surface repairs, roadside and bridge maintenance.
• Ability to work day/night shifts and be on-call.
• Must possess a valid Class 1 or 3 license.
• Driver’s abstract in good standing.
• First Aid Training.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
