Make your summer count by gaining hands-on experience with a road maintenance crew. Whether you’re starting your career or bringing previous labor or equipment experience, this role places you outdoors supporting the day-to-day maintenance of municipal roads and rights-of-way. You’ll assist with general road and gravel maintenance, signage and traffic control setup, vegetation management, and routine inspections while contributing to safe and reliable transportation infrastructure. Working support future opportunities in public works, transportation, or municipal operations from late spring through summer.

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent (GED) – combination of experience/education will be considered
• Prior road maintenance and/or construction experience is an asset
• Physical capabilities to perform job duties - required lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Working knowledge in the care and use of tools and equipment common to these positions
• Ability to communicate effectively using courtesy, tact and discretion and use good judgement
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
