In this position you will be responsible to understand and follow Westview Co-op’s Health and Safety Program and promoting a culture of safety, providing exceptional service to our members and guests, and living by our Brand expectations through our “You’re at Home Here” motto, provide information on seed, weed, disease and insect control to assist Guests in making informed decisions. Responsible to provide exceptional service and technical advice to Westview Co-op Guests and promote the sales of all Agro product lines especially crop inputs (including petroleum, feed, and equipment), develop and administer an aggressive farm contact program with present and prospective Guest, promoting the services and product lines available at Westview Co-op, manage all suppliers programming to the benefit of growers  and CAC, assure Guest satisfaction of product by providing product and agronomic support and work with Retail Manager on pricing, sales and inventory management of crop protection products, etc.  

Requirements include:

·          Grade 12 or equivalent with a preference for post-secondary education (business diploma or degree), previous progressive and successful sales experience

·          Commitment to ongoing development in the industry and relevant designation/knowledge (agronomy, chemical, seed, crop production)

·          CCA, Pag or equivalent experience preferred

·          Positive, approachable, motivated individual with a drive to learn
