A Facility Operator is responsible for the day-to-day safe and customer service-oriented operations of waste treatment, oil treatment and water injection. Operators actively assist with standard operating procedures, hazard assessments, safety programs and environment protection, while keeping in constant contact with customers and demonstrating excellent communications skills and a high level of customer service.

Requirements include:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Experience in operating waste processing and oil treating or water injection an asset, but not required
• Midstream terminal operations experience an asset
• Training in boilers, treaters, pumps (all), repairs, shaker/centrifuge and loader considered an asset
• Current and valid safety tickets
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills with the ability to work long hours in a mentally and physically demanding work environment
• Must be able to multi-task, demonstrate excellent decision-making skills, ability to troubleshoot
• Valid driver’s licence
