We are currently recruiting for a Journeyman Carpenter with strong attention to detail, superb organization, and time management skills. As a Carpenter you will be an integral part of the Special Areas team. For you, safety and quality are a priority, and you are proud of your work at the end of each day. The right candidate will provide maintenance and repair to Special Areas facilities, assist in the construction of new facilities, assist in providing estimates, quotes, RFP information for new construction and repairs, and assist in upkeep of the Carpenter Shop, including maintaining the safety of the facility.

Requirements include:

• Grade 12 Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid Alberta Certification of Qualification - Journeyman Carpenter combined with 2 years' experience in the trade
• Mature, personable, safety conscious team player with good communication and writing skills
• Possess exceptional organizational skills and exhibits composure in a high pace environment
• Competent working knowledge of the Alberta Building Code
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
• Physical capabilities to perform job duties - required lifting/carrying up to 50 lb
