Special Areas Board is in search of Individuals to fill the roles of Seasonal Equipment Operators/Maintenance Workers. As the Equipment Operator/Maintenance Worker you will be responsible for the operation of road maintenance equipment for task such as grading, weed and brush control.

Requirements include:

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent (GED) - combination of experience/education will be considered
• Prior road maintenance and/or construction experience is an asset
• Physical capabilities to perform job duties - required lifting/ carrying up to 50lbs
• Working knowledge in the care and use of tools and equipment common to these positions
• Ability to communicate effectively using courtesy, tact and discretion and good judgement
• Valid Drivers Licence
• These are designated safety sensitive positions and mandatory pre-employment drug testing will be conducted on all newly hired employees
