Grocery Department Manager


In this position you will be responsible for inventory management through weekly ordering, record and invoice maintenance, and leading quarterly inventory counts, scheduling Grocery Department Team Members to ensure that customer needs are met, ensuring company standards are met and department programs are followed, assist the Store Manager with recruiting while maintaining a high-performance work team, train, develop, and motivate Grocery Department Team Members, resolve customer and Grocery Department concerns and complaints, and provide a positive customer experience and champion the Freson Bros. Requirements include:
· Minimum of 2 years of grocery management experience
· History of meeting financial objectives and targets in a retail or grocery environment
· Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
· Effective critical thinking and conflict resolution skills
· Strong Google Suite skills and the ability to quickly learn new computer programs
· A passion for leading and developing others
· Knowledge of the basic principles of grocery procedures, policies, and standards
· Ability to work different shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays
· Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 10 pounds
