Special Areas Board is in search of individuals to fill the roles of Assistant Community Pasture Range Riders. The Assistant Community Pasture Range Riders will be responsible for assisting the Community Pasture Supervisor with admitting, checking, treating, moving, sorting, recording, and exiting cattle from the pasture.

Requirements include:

• Experience in handling livestock under range conditions;
• Previous community pasture experience is an asset
• Successful applicant must supply their own horses and tack
• Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence
• Physical capabilities to perform job duties- required lifting/carrying up to 50lbs
• Ability to communicate effectively using courtesy, tact and discretion and good use of judgement
• These are designated safety sensitive positions and mandatory pre-employment drug testing will be conducted on all newly hired employees
